After A Long Wait…Finally!!!!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
Finally, Payperpost approved my application with them. Thanks for the approval. I really wanted to be a part of this Payperpost community, because you’re not just here to write but you also get paid. Isn’t good?! These days, it’s really hard to earn money with the kind of economy that we have now and with this as an extra income it will help a lot with other expenses. Big time! (Maybe this time I can buy a my dream DSLR .Hehehe!)
I’ve learned about this last year while reading a post from another blogger, I forgot the site but it really inspires me to have my own blog. Then I ask my husband if he can make one for me since I’ve learned that Payperpost helped many bloggers earn extra income by doing this blog marketing. And you will also get a chance to meet other people and learn from them. Haaaay! With this new break that PPP has given, I’m sure I’m going to be busy as bee writing. And I can’t wait for another opportunity to come. I’m excited!
You too can be a part of this. Register now and you’ll get to meet other bloggers but be sure that you have your own blog. :p It’s easy as A, B, C’s, believe me. J
Back-to-School, Back-to-Work
June 2, 2008
I’m back to school but not as a student but as a teacher. It’s good to be back teaching Koreans again and seeing familiar faces of those who were once my students. I’m beginning to be fond of teaching now, because I also learn from my students and I do really love kids. I feel proud seeing them that they’re now good in communicating in English, unlike before that some of them don’t know a single English word.
I’ll be busy but that won’t stop me from blogging.

Last week, my mother told me that our helper will no longer work with us because of some reason. I really felt sad when I knew about it, because I know that she really needs a job for her family but obviously she can’t do it now. She needs to take care of her mother who’s always sick. We always treat her like she’s a part of our family. When I heard about it from my mother, the first thing that came into my mind was, “Where can I find another “ate” like her whom we can trust?” She only stayed with us for less than a year but I will always be thankful to her for taking care of our daughter while I’m at work.
Now, I’m thinking if I’m going to stop working again to take care of our daughter since my mother can’t do it alone. And my husband and I have this plan of going back in Hopia Wonderland. I don’t know what to do now. =(
“Why?! You Can’t ENGLISHIE?!
January 17, 2008
Just this afternoon, my 2 co-teachers got bored, so we decided to have a group class instead of one-by-one class that we always have. The students got so excited maybe because they also got tired of this tutorial thing. So, when we get inside the room we can’t think of any activity that we can do. I ask them to tell us a story, any story. We told student#1 to go first, but he has to introduce himself first. And this is how the story goes….
Student#1: Teacher is no! Teacher is tell a story. (He means that we should be the one who will tell a story)
Teacher: Start. Introduce yourself first.
Student#1: Ok. I name is…
(Student#2 and Student#3 laughing hard.)
Student#2: hahahahah! (pointing to student#1) Why?! You can’t Englishie?! (Yes, you read it right. That’s how they pronounce it.)
(Student#3 laughing and pointing to student#2)
Student#3: You too! You can’t englishie! Oh men!!
Funny, because they we’re all laughing at each other. But seriously, no matter how hard you correct them with their pronounciation. They can’t perfect it and they keep on repeating it. ![]()
Tough Challenge
December 24, 2007
Funny but it’s true. I’ve been teaching Koreans for a week now, and I’ve observed that they can’t count in english. Whenever I ask my students to count in english, others would tell it to me honestly that they don’t know how. Others keep on making excuses like for example they are thirsty and they want to get a water to drink. Some will change the topic and will tell other stories instead of counting. ![]()
“You’re In!”
December 14, 2007
Today I received a text message saying that I have to be at the Juni’s Home School for Koreans at 1:30 PM. I’m no longer excpecting a call from them since I applied last wednesday and they adviced me that they’re going to call that very same night if I made it. But, I haven’t got a feedback from them until this afternoon. So I went there. I thought they’re going to give me back my resume. =) And when I talked to Teacher Rod, he told me that I’m in. YEHEY!!! I really need a job to keep me sane. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy being a Stay-at-Home-Mom but I also want to be productive and earn.
I am very excited on my new job. At least I can practice my teaching skills before our daughter gets to school. =)
