Happy Father’s Day Daddy KK!
June 15, 2008
Tifa loves to write just like her Daddy KK. While she was practicing her writing skills, I told her to make a Father’s Day message for her Dad. (as if she can understand me now.hahahah!) But believe it or not, she nods at me and wrote this…
- Tifa writing her message for Daddy KK
- Happy Father’s Day!
I don’t know what she wrote. Maybe she’s saying thank you and I love you to Daddy KK for all his sacrifices for her.

Usog
June 7, 2008
Tifa’s not feeling well for the past few days, but I’m just wondering why her temperature usually goes up at night. But she doesn’t seem like she got a fever, she would always play like she’s really well. And she’s waking up at 3am to play with the curtain. Strange, isn’t? Not the usual thing that she do.
Then I decided to take her to the doctor the following day, but my mother told me to bring her first to “albularyo”. Maybe she have this “usog/bati”, I don’t know how to explain this in English.
There’s nothing wrong in believing with the albularyo sometimes, so I surrender to my mother’s suggestion.
Then I brought Tifa in an albularyo, Mang Agring. According to him Tifa really have this “usog” by a woman. He put a white paper on Tifa’s forehead, and gave me another paper and told me to burn it and put a little ash on Tifa’s forehead. When we got home, I did what Mang Agring’s instruction. I hope this one will work.
Born Diva
May 31, 2008
It was when I got back here in Philippines that I noticed how Tifa loves to sing. Before, she just dances whenever she will hear a lively music. Now, she even imitates what the singers in the television will do. She loves our magic sing, that’s why I bought a toy microphone for her. I wonder where did she get this fondness for singing, is it from hubby dear?
Here are some photos of our born diva:

Hard to find formula milk
May 23, 2008
Since I got back here in Philippines, I was having a hard time finding a formula milk for our daughter. Her Pedia changed her milk since she’s already 1 year old. From Hi-nulac Excel to Enfagrow A+. Actually, it’s not that hard to find in the market, but I want it with Choline, DHA, ARA and SA. Most of the store and even big supermarket that I’ve been doesn’t have this on the milk. I found one store nearby and they only have those in the box which is only 400g. And with that, it’s only good for a few days for our daughter. What I want is a big can because it’s cheaper and I am worried because they only got a few box left. Why I want it with Choline, DHA, ARA and SA? Because it helps with the brain development and Tifa wants it.

I hope Mead Johnson will soon release in the market those with DHA and ARA products. ![]()
High Chair
March 18, 2008
Everyday whenever we eat, Tifa always sit on my lap. And I’m always having a hard time eating, specially now that she also want to eat by herself. So, we bought a high chair for her. Now, we can eat well unlike before and it’s also good because it’s one way of training her to eat on her own.

Good thing she never got scared sitting on her own. She’a already trained whenever we eat in a restaurants. ![]()
Undecided

Last week, my mother told me that our helper will no longer work with us because of some reason. I really felt sad when I knew about it, because I know that she really needs a job for her family but obviously she can’t do it now. She needs to take care of her mother who’s always sick. We always treat her like she’s a part of our family. When I heard about it from my mother, the first thing that came into my mind was, “Where can I find another “ate” like her whom we can trust?” She only stayed with us for less than a year but I will always be thankful to her for taking care of our daughter while I’m at work.
Now, I’m thinking if I’m going to stop working again to take care of our daughter since my mother can’t do it alone. And my husband and I have this plan of going back in Hopia Wonderland. I don’t know what to do now. =(
What’s with Barney?!
February 8, 2008
“I love you, you love me. We’re a happy family with a great big hug and a kiss from me to you. Won’t you say you love me too? “- Barney Song
Everyday you can hear that song in our home. It’s our little girl who’s always watching her favorite DVD. What’s with Barney and Friends? Why our daughter goes gaga over them? I remember when I was still pregnant, my husband always telling me not to introduce Barney to our baby.
Aside from the fact that Barney toys are expensive here, he said that there’s no dinosaur with a purple color. I agree. But whoever made Barney, I am thankful to them for helping entertain kids while the mothers need to do something like house chores while their kids are watching. I can see that many children learned from them though I heard that some critics don’t like Barney and I don’t know why. Anyway different people have this different opinion. Let’s just respect their opinion.
And here’s a few picture of our little girl, while watching Barney. For me that show is like a tranquilizer for our daughter, because whenever we let her watch that it was like she’s in a trance. You can’t disturb her. Don’t try because she will not look at you.I bet.
“Hey! Hey! Hey! We learn something new today. Hip! Hip! Hooray! We learn something new today”– Barney and Friends
Tifa’s First Christmas
December 31, 2007
It’s Tifa’s first christmas. But not a good day for our little angel, because she’s sick. On christmas eve, she just opened her gifts. And the next day, we just visit a few relatives for a while and went back home.
